Yin Yoga Classes



Yin Yoga has a more meditative approach with a deep physical focus. Due the longer holding of the poses wich is between 3 and 5 minutes we reach the deeper tissue like the connective tissue and the fascia. We stimulate the meridians and the internal organs improving the flow of Qi for more vitality. In this way we maintain and increase flexibility. Yin Yoga reduces Stress and anxiety, calming and balancing Mind and Body, leads into deeper relaxation and much more. Yin Yoga is a perfect counterpart to your aktive Yoga or sports routine.
I invite you to melt deep, let go and create space in your body and in your mind to increase balance and maintain your wellbeing

Spring is coming and with it changes. Some are visible and some are veiled. The changes in nature we can clearly see and feel. The changes in our body often are more hidden. As the hours of sunlight increase and nature changes, our flow of energy gets stronger.
In traditional Chinese medicine the assigned element for spring is wood.
Wood stands for a new beginning, the birth and childhood. The organs are Liver and Gall Bladder. The color is Green. Spring’s energy is fresh, vigorous and a strong will to grow.

In Yin Yoga we activate the flow of energy in the meridians by staying longer in the poses. We literally melt into the pose and reach the deeper tissues of the body.

This Yin Yoga workshop celebrates the transition from winter to spring.
By diving deep into body and mind we raise our perception and welcome the new.

We will celebrate the full moon with a nourishing Yin Yoga practice to gather our energy and strengthen our power.

I care for myself – a guide to self massage

In our stressful times ‘self care’ is more important than ever.
We have to remind us again and again to cater for our “well – being”.
Sometimes we just need a hug from a friend and that feels so relieving and relaxing, we wonder why.
In older times and also in other cultures self care is a part of life and is taught from the first day on. Self touch is an important part and if we take a closer look we can see that some things of the ancient knowledge are still living in us.
If we feel pain in our body we instantly lay our hand onto that area. If we have a headache we often massage our temples. It is natural to us and we don’t even think about it.

But there is much more we could do if we have the right tools and knowledge.
Examples: we can help ourselves with back pain. We can stimulate our organs and our circulation. All it needs is a bit of time and mindfulness for our body and its needs.

This workshop gives you the keys to start ‘self care’ and recognize the needs of your body. You learn to massage yourself and raise your perception how this affects you body and mind.

It is also the preparation for the „Massage Training - Basic Class”
No prior knowledge is needed.
This class is suitable for everyone.

- learn techniques to massage yourself
- guided self-massages
- body awareness training
- other health tips
- certificate

- 1 big towel
- 1 Tennis ball

Massage Training - Basic Class

Since ancient times massage is a basic part between human beings.
To give and receive a touch or a hug is a natural part of communication and healing.
If children have a bad belly or some light pains the parents instinctively lay there hands on the spot to give a feeling of „all is good“ often the pain will disappear.
During a massage muscle tensions will be released which will enhance the circulation und gently stimulate the metabolism. Mental stress is reduced. Relaxation and quietness will settle in. In this way we can get in touch with ourselves. We can again sense the natural oneness of body, mind and spirit. We are immediately rewarded with a feeling of wellness. In short: Massage supports mental and physical well being.

In this Massage Training - Basic Class you will learn all what it needs to give a basic full body massage. After the weekend you will be able to give a relaxing and nourishing massage. Than it is practise, practise, practise …

- basic knowledge of anatomic approach
- basic massage techniques
- setup and structure of a massage
- a certificate

No prior knowledge is needed, we will start from scratch.
